LifePoint Health is seeking a compassionate Recreational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will assess patients’ emotional, physical, and social needs and design goal-driven recreational therapy plans that support recovery, function, and quality of life. You will facilitate group and individual therapeutic activities, collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team, and document measurable outcomes. Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs using standardized tools.
Develop and implement individualized recreational therapy treatment plans.
Lead group and individual therapeutic recreation sessions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
Document patient progress and adjust interventions based on outcomes.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic recreation strategies.
Ensure a safe, engaging environment aligned with clinical goals.
Participate in quality improvement and community wellness initiatives.
